I enjoy showing my cats and spending time with friends and cat-family at the shows.  It's always a thrill when cats I've bred or owned are recognized with placements or finals!  Showing is a hobby, and also an important part of being a responsible breeder, so we can know how the cats we are breeding stack up in terms of the Breed Standard.  With the goal of always improving the breed, in health, beauty and temperament, showing our cats and the interaction with the judges and other breeders and their cats is the best way to see where we stand.

Living with David Fry of D D Dreams

A HUGE thanks to David Fry of DD Dreams who took Desperado to a Regional Win!  Desi was such a delight and David showed him so well, always in beautiful condition.  This sweet boy was always ready to play with the judges, or just hang out on his grooming table between rings accepting pets and admiration from the visitors at the show.

Desi may not ever sire kittens of his own, (he had the necessary parts removed!), but he serves as a lovely example of the breed and his personality makes him the perfect Ambassador as well! I couldn't be more proud of this handsome guy.

Willy wasn't such a big fan of the shows, but such a gorgeous cat!  He performed just fine on the judges stand, but all those people walking around made him want to hide.... or maybe he was just sleepy and needed to block out the noise?

No Matter, he granded in just a few shows and I thank Susan Blevins of Moosecoons for working so hard to keep him white and gaining R P Cathouse our first home-grown Grand Champion!

My beauty-girl!

VZ came along at a time when my schedule didn't allow me to get out to shows as often as I would have liked, but she kept her happy happy show personality and managed to woo the judges none-the less.  Although calendar wise it took her several months, she granded in just a few shows.  We attended the CFA International in 2008 and I was thrilled when my girl made a final against such amazing competition there!

VZ now lives with April, Ben and the twins and is happily being loved and pampered by them.
